Stoutheart: Broken Spirits is a student-developed, deceptively light-hearted, roguelike 3D character action game built upon the concept of dynamic enemy possession fused with Souls-inspired combat. You play as the determined spirit of a fallen traveler, traversing an ever-changing steampunk island populated by once-human robots, corrupted and influenced by a mysterious power. Every opponent you encounter in the game’s procedurally generated levels can be possessed to inherit their unique abilities, fundamentally changing the way you play on the fly!

UpRooted is a narrative-driven action-adventure game following Anaiah and Finn as they work together to hack the virus corrupting the forest. Animals have gone feral, some sporting glaring red eyes, exposed circuits, and murky coats of black ink smeared into fur and feathers. The two only have one lead on defeating the virus: Harness the White element and head to the heart of the woods. Anaiah’s fighting style is mid-range, whereas Finn can get up close and personal. Switch between characters and fight as one. Blast as a mage, stab as a paladin. The responsibilities of saving the forest may weigh heavy, but at least they have each other.
