ABOUT
Our Keynote Speaker at Rochester Game Festival is Mitchell Patterson, the CEO of Wolfjaw Studios, and his appearance is a joint presentation of ROC Game Fest and the MAGIC Speaker Series.
Mitchell Patterson was raised in Upstate NY. He attended Manhattan College after graduating high school and majored in Political Science and History. Right out of college he started working for the NYS Senate as a legislative aid before moving into a fundraising role.
Mitchell returned to Syracuse after a few years and started working with startups, managing a small fund investing in IP created in labs in Upstate colleges. He worked with Syracuse University and a few large net worth individuals in the Syracuse region where he helped raise the initial funding and setup for Armory Square Ventures.
At this point, Mitchell decided to go out on his own and started consulting studios that were working in the games sector. In 2018, Mitchell started Wolfjaw Studios. In the past five years they have grown to 80 developers and work on some of the biggest titles in the gaming industry.
